Python Job: Site Reliability Engineer

We empower publishers and advertisers to take control of their first-party assets to drive business results. Our real-time data management, data clean room, and CTV solutions converge to help customers engage their audiences with more meaningful and personalized content and advertising. We support publishers in monetizing their inventory and optimize advertisers’ marketing performance through data. So far, we’ve enhanced the marketing performance of companies around the world including Axel Springer, BI Garage, Le Figaro, South China Morning Post, and Tegna.

In this role as a Site Reliability Engineer, you...

• Setup and build east, yet secure, processes that aim at faster development and time-to-production
• Setup and maintain our IaS environment using AWS & Terraform
• Improve our deployment processes based on Docker and ECS.
• Tune our datastores like Couchbase, ElasticSearch, and Kafka.
• Develop in Go, Python and Bash/Shell for our operations and backend stacks.
• Create and maintain monitoring and alerting using Grafana, CloudWatch, lambdas and more for our production systems.
• Participate in defining the technology roadmap of the platform team.
• Optimize our GitHub CI/CD processes, manage our dependencies, and facilitate testing of our code.
• Establish milestones for necessary contributions from departments and develop processes to facilitate their collaboration
• Help the other teams of the department to increase their productivity

About you

• You have at least two years of experience in this field.
• You have a good knowledge of Terraform
• You have a very good understanding of software development processes and work hand-in-hand with software developers.
• You have a solid background in system security.
• You tend to not do things manually more than twice, you would rather automate.
• You love solving problems and digging deeper.
• You are self-directed and hands-on.
• BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• You communicate well in English
